It’s a Great Time to Eat Grass Fed Bison

Empire Buffalo is a small scale bison farm. We sell bison meat frozen, by the retail cut. Bison is great tasting and good for you, and ours is all grass fed, which creates a more sustainable footprint.

Our freezers are stocked and we have plenty of meat available for pick up here at the farm. For a full price list and description of our product, visit the meat page.

We will not be participating in indoor markets.

We would be happy to see you on Small Business Saturday, November 28th.

Just send us an email, or call to place and order and schedule a pick up. We’ll take your order, let you know what it costs and bring it to your car, with our mask on for a no contact purchase. Daylight hours are best. And, it’s always fine to call and come by on short notice.

To encourage you to stock up, we’re offering a special–buy any ten pounds of a ground bison product (loose ground, burger patties and italian sausage) and get an additional pack free. Yes, you can mix and match!

We look forward to meeting you!

Our Story

Joe Lazarsky and Aileen Randolph purchased 100 acres on Falls Road late in 2009. It was an old dairy farm that hadn’t been farmed in a decade. In 2011 we brought in a small herd of bison from Tennessee. Our herd has grown to over 60 and we’ve learned alot about bison, fencing and the challenges of small scale farming. We wouldn’t be here today without the support of our community and passionate bison eaters from across the region. We truly appreciate it.

Why You’ll Love Bison

Bison meat is great tasting and good for you too. It’s lower in fat and cholesterol than boneless skinless chicken, and higher in iron than beef.
