It’s Been A Great Time for Grass Fed Bison

Empire Buffalo started in 2010 and it has been a great adventure that is nearing its end. Buffalo Joe and the family are taking steps to move the herd to a new home. As plans are finalized, we will share the name of the businesses that purchase our herd.

No further processings are curently planned, if you are interested in buying meat it may be purchased by appointment at the farm. We expect to have ground available through the end of 2025.

Our Story

Joe Lazarsky and Aileen Randolph purchased 100 acres on Falls Road late in 2009. It was an old dairy farm that hadn’t been farmed in a decade. In 2011 we brought in a small herd of bison from Tennessee. Our herd has grown to over 60 and we’ve learned alot about bison, fencing and the challenges of small scale farming. We wouldn’t be here today without the support of our community and passionate bison eaters from across the region. We truly appreciate it.

Why You’ll Love Bison
